He’s been awarded the DAR - Daughters of the American Revolution – NATIONAL CONSERVATION AWARD, the 2017 – BEST ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE CURRICULUM WINNER by EEAA, and the 2011 – ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD. He’s also a founding board member of the national Keep America Beautiful affiliate - KEEP THE SHOALS BEAUTIFUL.
