Activewear has always been a staple in the fitness industry; however, in recent years, activewear has been gaining popularity among everyday people as well. Today, activewear is a $4 billion market worldwide. However, for each activewear about 1lb of plastic waste is dumped in the ocean. But not for this brand. This week's conversation with Cathy Paraggio, Founder of NoNetz.com has certainly been super inspiring. Their fabrics contain recycled plastic and they plant trees to offset carbon emissions. To top it all they partner with a wide variety of groups to clean the ocean.

This week I have a discussion with Meagan O’Nan on a very interesting topic. Meagan is an award-winning author, keynote speaker, and vulnerable storytelling expert. She is the author of the award-winning book, “Creating Your Heaven on Earth,” and “Courage: Agreeing to Disagree Is Not Enough.”

Meagan is passionate about creating connections through storytelling as a way to overcome differences and generate healing. For the last decade, she has been a significant voice for the LGBTQ community in Mississippi, speaking with pastors, university representatives and classes, on the radio, and on the news as a voice offering unity and cooperation. Meagan now lives with her wife, Clare, and their daughter, Merit, in Starkville, Mississippi.

This week I am joined by George Siegal, writer, director and producer of the award-winning documentary films The Last House Standing and License to Parent. George, his wife Nancy and their children live in Tampa, Florida. He recently founded the documentary film company Move the World Films, Inc. He is also the host of the Make It Better podcast. He started it for people frustrated with all the noise back and forth about how something needs to be fixed but don’t see any action. His podcast shows that amazing things can happen if people work towards a common goal.
