Talkin' Video Games

Osh returns for a week and a half of "Wii" Games! Wii Party, Wii Sports and Wii Play are in the lineup. The costume in Board Game Island, game lengths, and whether or not you just need luck to play are all discussed in this episode.

But wait! What's that? It seems a -o0o-Bonus Level-o0o- has been unlocked! Go check it out!

In this episode, Sam and Dad play Super Mario 64. Dad talks about how he got an N64 to play it, and discusses how the first 3D Mario compares to the first platforming Mario.

As an attempt to reboot the platforming days of old, how does this game compare to the ones on the NES and SNES? And is it more than just a port from the DS game? All this (and toadstool jumping) are discussed in this episode.

Oshawatt54 returns to the track to tackle the Special Cup. Rainbow Road, Blue Shells and Motion Controls are discussed, in addition to thoughts about the Wii Wheel.

DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO DEE! DOO!

Merry Christmas everyone! And go us for running this podcast for a month! Today, Sam and Dad play Super Mario Bros. Or should I say, Super JUMPMAN Bros? We discuss the history of Mario, how the game is AWESOME! And why fire bars were invented... I MEAN C'MON! THEY'RE JUST AS BAD AS HAMMER BROS!

Next on 'Classic Mini Month' is Galaga! A game about shooting alien bugs and whatnot! As a game both Sam and Dad like, what is there to discuss? And is this month just an advert for emulator.online? (Go check it out :D)

Continuing "Classic Mini Month", Punch-Out is played. Sam protests that it isn't really the same as in the arcade, whereas Dad just kinda shrugs it off. And we find out if it is possible to be beaten by Glass Joe?

When Donkey Kong is captured by Mario, his son has to save him! As a game requiring intense timing, will Old-guy Dad be able to handle it? And how come in the second level bird poop is a obstacle?

As the second NES game reviewed, we look at what seems to be at a first glance a tetris clone, but is truly different at heart. How will Sam and Dad react to this game? And seriously, Nintendo, WHY PUT STRESSFUL MUSIC ON A PUZZLE GAME!?!!?? Note to anyone who will ever play the original Dr. Mario, don't use FEVER music.

This time, we play 'Excitebike' (or 'Dullbike, as Dad calls it) on the NES Classic Mini. As a retro game that Dad never played, and a throwback to old times Sam never knew, what are the opinions?
