We’re former players who’ve lived the rugby dream from New Zealand and Australia to the stadiums of Europe. We know what it’s like to chase opportunities in the Top 14, Premiership, ProD2, and beyond, and we’ve seen first-hand the highs, the struggles, and the lessons that come with it.
We started Talking About a Carpool because young players often see only the highlight reel. No one sits them down and explains the pathway, the competitions, the contracts, and the challenges of life abroad. This podcast is our way of sharing those stories and experiences in a real, relaxed way so the next generation can be better prepared for their own journey.
