In the first episode since the shutdown, I'll share the "end" of the Big West season as a parent and fan, and talk about he 2 big decisions since the shutdown--the MLB draft reduction, and the D1 Council giving every player another year and the consequences. Always keeping it positive.
This week's episode: The current non-league standings; the Big West vs. Other conferences; a review of the week including deep dive through the scorebooks; an even deeper dive into the RPI reality and National NCAA stats for the Big West; and current thoughts on baseball, travel, and the corona virus. In this episode: standings and scores from the previous week; a run through the box scores; this week's Big West Conference Players of the week; and reflections on the "Let's Go's" of a 24-inning game. Always keeping it positive.
Topics this week: Big West Going 0 for 6 on Midweeks but strong on the weekend; non-league standings, players of the week and recognition of players in their games; and some talk and stats about bunts and sac flies--the historical staples of the Big West. Always keeping it positive.
In episode two we look the great opening weekend of results in the Big West Baseball season, recognize players who did very well, including freshies making their debuts, and a little for parents of freshman players.
