We take the last remaining diesel hatchback in the country on a road trip to Bangalore to see if it still makes sense to buy a diesel car these days. Also we talk about how car manufacturers who didn't take India seriously are now confined to the history books an why sun film ban wasn't a great decision, among other things.

We briefly drive the new C3 Electric which was developed in record time and initial impressions are quite good. It has decent space, good ride, adequate performance and acceptable range. If they manage to price it well, this will rival the Tata Tiago EV and the upcoming Renault Kiger Electric.

News for the new year and we have Scorpio getting 5 stars in the Global NCAP, Toyota losing its customer information to hackers, BMW asking us to keep our old cars and Tesla playing spooky with its infotainment.

At one point of time, we had a couple of manufacturers like Tata, Fiat, Opel, Maruti etc experimenting with the wagon / estate body style in India. Although they were practical, buyers didn't take a liking to them and chose their sedan versions instead.
