  • Elena Brandt - FontSound
Elena Brandt, Swedesboro resident and founder of FontSound, LLC., is this week’s guest with Mike and Pete for a fantastic hour in the vault (assuming you can make it through the record-setting 14 minutes of news read and banter at the beginning. Sorry.). This driven and energetic young woman from Queens, NY, shares the story of her passion project, FontSound, which assists Catholic parishes in empowering missionary disciples, providing expertise in such specialties as liturgy and music, staff development and coaching, social media and web design, and missions and retreats.
The three also share social media tips, as Elena and FontSound are very active on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, where she often advocates for leading with your heart.

  • Talking Saints - Sts. Peter and Paul
The dynamic duo are back again and talking about another dynamic duo, the two foundational pillars of the Catholic Church, Saints Peter and Paul. Laurie Power and Pete Sanchez share the lives and impact of Peter, the first Apostle and Rock of the church, and Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles. Their devotion to the Catholic faith, and the passion to share its truth and beauty with all, inspires faithful today.
O God, on the Solemnity of the Apostles Peter and Paul,
give us the noble and holy joy of this day,
grant, we pray, that your Church may in all things follow the teaching
of those through whom she received the beginnings of right religion.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

  • Fr. Robert Sinatra - Leisure time
The third co-host is back! Fr. Robert Sinatra, pastor of Saint Padre Pio Parish in Vineland, joins Mike and Pete for a spirited hour of conversation that we thought was going to be about the importance of leisure time, something we tend to get a few minutes more of in the summer.
However, what actually happened is three pals locked themselves in a vault and talked about whatever popped into their heads. This is a digression filled podcast we think you might actually enjoy. (Don't worry, we only talk baseball for a few minutes.)
And as always, rate/review us on Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen to your podcasts and chat with us on all the social platforms via our Talking Catholic handles.

  • Lisa & Karen Caso
What’s a DRE? That’s how we led off our chat this week with two great directors of religious education in the Diocese of Camden, the Caso sisters. Lisa is the DRE at The Parish of All Saints in Millville, NJ, and Karen is the DRE at Saint Gabriel the Archangel Parish in Carney’s Point, NJ. For most of their adult lives they have been committed to religious education programs around the diocese and were instrumental in our co-host Mike’s formation as a young adult. The duo talk with us about the effort they put into their religious education programs, the importance of finding ways to make faith a part of your daily life, and also how they are able to keep themselves educated and energized. It’s a great chat that wanders into all sorts of areas!
