With things bigger than sports going on in the world right now, is there an expectation for athletes to speak up? If so, what is their message? With players like Tavares, Toews, Crosby, McDavid, Kane and most of the teams making statements against racism and the murder of George Floyd, we discuss what we want out of our athletes and why their voices matter. This is a touchy topic for some, of which we are aware, but we felt it was a disservice to ourselves and our audience if we didn't talk about it.
If you have the ability to donate money to the different causes, we have left a link here where you can support different groups according to your beliefs. Thank you for listening.

Now, about the podcast... COVID-19 officially hit the NHL and now the rest of the season is up in the air. How will it play out? How does this affect the salary cap? Will the playoffs happen? What happens to next year? We discuss all of this and more on this week's episode! Also, please forgive any audio faults. We are doing this fully remote duh to self-isolation rules and what not. As such, we hope this episode is still nice on the ears. We get goofier and goofier on each episode so I hope you enjoy it!
