    1) Enough with the nerfing already! CCP’s over-reliance on “balancing” is an admission that they can’t create their way out of a problem. It is an unsatisfying experience for a player and is counter-intuitive. You don’t see Harley Davidson changing their bikes because they are too “Boss” and unfair to the competition!
2)Why isn’t AFK an OK style to play? Players already police that and if AFK isking generates too much isk… I dunno, maybe create something desirable in game that a player might want to spend that isk on? Let’s make carrier ratting great again!
3)Is new player retention any better? For those new to EVE, let’s give them the option of joining an NPC corp as usual. Or better yet, they could choose to join an established player corp. Corporations could apply to be on “Intake” for a week at a time, with new players able to join a corp sorted for language, timezone and play style. This way new players are mentored by others who are invested in their future.
    Campaign Post
Hi there. I’m Solar Taranogas and I’m running for a seat on CSM. What makes me different from the rest of the field? I’m a nobody. I don’t stream, I don’t make Youtube videos (love watching them though, keep em coming Rhiload) and I’m not a player in the high level politics and intrigue that EVE is famous for. Essentially, I’m spending my time like most of you, pvp’ing, isking, trying not to get ganked in that Jita to Amarr corridor.

In the interests of full disclosure, I would characterize myself as a Null-Seccer who likes to play in Wormholes, although I think it would be fair to say that the reverse is equally true. I maintain some presence in High Sec as well.
I think past CSM attendees have been able to successfully represent the large alliance and meta-game point of view. I’m running for CSM because I believe that the CSM/CCP dialogue needs to more representative of the individual player experience.
I’ll touch on some of the ideas that I have about the direction I think EVE needs to go:

    * Stop Ship and Module “Balance Passes”

Players experience nerfing as counter-intuitive. You don’t see any RL group giving up some advantage in the interests of fairness for all. It seems silly to lose and gain fitting slots and for base abilities to be adjusted. Why not replace the practice of nerfing with gradual and occasionally dramatic improvements to technology like happens in RL. An actual “Arms Race” if you will.
    * Quit Nerfing Bounties

The problem they say is that a few players make too much isk. The solution is to penalize everyone. Why not create something for those space rich players to spend their isk (and to lose it).
    * New Players

Let me tell you. The new player experience starts with Aura and NPC Corp Chat. Both of which are enough to turn someone off from EVE. Do you think this might have a part to play in driving some of our new players away from the game? What if a new player was given the option of starting out with a player corporation? You could have the chance to pick a corp based on region and or language group. As well you could choose a corporation that was active in the style of game play that interests you as a player.

Hello, my name is Afropty im a candidate for CSM XIII.

Eve online is an incredible game.

I would like to improve the game for non-English speaking players, same as last year. I have come to realize that there are many others like me who don’t speak English as primarily, which is cool because we have a diversity of people.

Together we can help improve the EVE online experience.
    Propose:
*** Changes in the logistics involvement**

    * Have you ever ask this question? dude where is my contract? well, in general, it would be a great idea if the player can track where is the contract % completion, region, constellation, system and at some point it will be more easy to see where is the JF and get more content.
    * Create an advanced skill for reducing the isotopes consumption, in general for all capitals. Right now we have one, but what about to have one named like “Advanced fuel consumption”.
    * Remove the restriction cargo container on the courier contract.

    *** Language improvement**
    *** Coalition Structure Use**

    * I hear so many times why can´t use that bridge? well, I think when EVE started we all talking about alliances, but now we are talking about Coalitions.

The idea is creating Coalitions structures so all member of the Coalitions will be available to use it.

It means to create a new chat named Coalition, new color dark blue for example.

    *** Third-party Applications**

    * Battle report ingame.

    Candidate Self Description

Brisc Rubal has had a storied history across the universe, including here in New Eden. He’s done just about everything one man can do, and then some.
Brisc has been popping up all across the known galaxy, and even in a few far, far away. He was a famed leader of the Galactic Empire, before betraying the Emperor and joining the Rebellion, serving alongside a ragtag band of rebels who made their home on a server called Bloodfin. He piloted his beloved F-57A Sabre to the rank of Lt. Colonel in the Terran Confederation Navy. He faced the mighty Ragnaros the Firelord in combat, and helped slay the fearsome Onyxia without getting tail whipped into the whelps (a 50 DKP minus). He is the Dragonborn of legend, the Nerevarine, a member in good standing of the Brotherhood of Steel, the Thieves Guild of Riften, and got the top score on Spy Hunter at the arcade in Glen Burnie Mall. Not bad for one guy, huh?
Since coming to New Eden in 2006, he’s been all around the cluster. He’s been a high sec mission runner. He’s done some time on the Tama gate camp and lived off a couch in low sec. For much of his active career he’s been an active pilot in nullsec, a proud F1 jockey in the Initiative. He’s been a ratter, he’s been a miner (although he hates mining with the passion of Gigx hating the Judge). He’s made some dank memes. He was at the Battle of M-O, YOLOed a carrier into a Vydra Reloled wormhole gang, blopsed and been blopsed, gone whaling for Rorquals across Paragon Soul, and lived all across the map, from Tenal to Feythabolis and points in between. He’s been in small gangs, he’s been on massive fleets. He’s been in TIDI so bad he walked in slow motion to the toilet to take a dump.
What isn’t he? He’s not an FC. He’s not reddit famous (well, he’s not anonymous, but he’s not Chevis either). He’s not a CEO, or an alliance diplomat. He’s not even a director of his corporation. He doesn’t even own a wizard hat and he’s never been to Fanfest.
He is, at heart, just the average pilot here in New Eden – one of the nameless, faceless masses of men and women who got addicted to this bloody game and can’t quit it.
If elected to CSM, that’s who he’ll be representing – you.
In real life, Brisc Rubal is the online persona of Brian Schoeneman, a veteran lawyer and politician in the United States. In his day job, he represents America’s largest seafaring union in the halls of Congress and the White House. He’s run for office twice, testified before the U.S. Congress multiple times, served as chief elections administrator in the largest county in the Commonwealth of Virginia (with over 1 million residents), served as Special Assistant and Senior Speechwriter for a U.S. cabinet secretary, got verified on Twitter, taken a nap smack dab in centerfield at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and Rachel Maddow even apologized for making fun of him on TV.
He even openly admits that he plays EVE.
And to think, he did all that while still managing to earn a 81% dangerous rating on Zkillboard (even though we all know killboards don’t matter).

Have lived in lowsec most of my EVE career. Went from EUNI’s lowsec campus to WAFFLES eventually leading me to start my own alliance Tsundere Triad. Currently live in Aridia while being deployed to The Bleak Lands to fight the Matari slaves. Previously, only had knowledge about basic plex mechanics, now I have since been helping to reclaim the holy lands from Amarr’s old 3 systems to what we have now. Working with many others in unifying the militia.

    Campaign Post

Hello friends, it is time again for these things. So I guess without further ado here’s my own thread.
    Who am I?

I’m a lowsec pilot through and through full stop. I started back in EVE Uni in the lowsec campus back in 2013 and when I left EUNI I left for WAFFLES back in August of 2015. I was there for about a year and a half enjoying the pirate life though my burnout from the uni had left me bogged down. So during my stint, I took an extended EVEcation and came back reinvigorated. Eager to be useful to my WAFFLEbros I joined the recruiter team and decided to start doing public fleets. This was something that was constantly discussed in #anime-club of tweetfleet slack and I decided I would pull the trigger and just do it. Thus, the WeebFleet public channel, mailing list, and public fleets came to be.
During these public fleets, an unaffiliated discord using the same name (intentionally) was created. Upon joining the discord, I realized there was a desire for a weeb corp. So I decided to create WeebFleet the corp as my pet project. Initially, I just intended it to be a neutral corp/alliance that weebs from all over New Eden could stick alts in to and we could just mess around together despite differences on our mains. Though this quickly changed and the quirky little project ended up taking a lot of my time. As a result I was let go from WAFFLES due to inactivity on my main and decided to pour all of my attention to WeebFleet.
Here we are over a year later and through the guidance of me and my directorate, we’ve not only started working to make a home in our pocket, but we have since joined Faction Warfare. Setting a permanent deployment there we have been working hard at unifying the Amarr militia and getting systems back. My hard work in doing so of creating and maintaining a neutral discord, creating a neutral in game channel, seeking out and expanding from the original group of four alliances. When we joined, Amarr had a scant 3 systems. Now through the efforts of all of us in the leadership group (of Amarr Mil) we are now up to 32 systems. This is by far not all my work, though I was an integral part of making it happen due to all the backend work of slowly trying to unify them.
None of this happened easily either. Nor can I claim the militia is unified. Though we are currently working hard to change that with working very closely with Aggressively Feeding and Amarrian State.
Why you should vote for me?

I’ll not only continue my tireless work on trying to unify the militia and growing my own alliance.

Save a spot on your ballot for me. I demonstrated my commitment and values during my previous term much to the disappointment of certain groups.
I want to be re-elected and I am not naive about how unlikely that is without null support. Just because unaffiliated voters grossly outnumber all of null doesn’t mean they all vote or even that they will vote in their best interests. The truth is I may have a very low chance of success but that hasn’t changed since I first started running for CSM. I lost many many times before finally being elected. I kept trying and applying myself.
Being serious and committed to something means that even when your likelihood of success is small you still put in the effort.

Yes I know what you want to say I know in the same way too

    * first of all, try to help all new players to set status and help with the tutorial
    * locate trusted corporations and alliances the ones with a long and good reputation cause many corps seek using players to they own benefits and not let them know or have fun in the game that is not just a long and extense killing

The game is rich in many things, and I am agreed that the best of it is the player power of choice in the game you can do many such things you feel small, experiences players sometimes are noobs considering when the changes or updates are coming and fixing
The problem is not the game is how the people use the game for you can see here many kinds of persons but the one thing that gives you your way to go is the corp of your choice your first corp is the one that gave the main idea how the game work
If you choose a good corp I mean good, Goals, Friendly, Teaching, and many times helping with ISK and ships the same attitude you have it with others in the game no matter if you are hostile or not but if the corp you are into is full of persons with just one thing in mind” New guy, new bulletproof”
And no I want to fix the problem talking with the main corps and alliances in the game to be able to make the game more GOOD for play than be here and a random guy just kill you or gank you without reason and never know if you can fight back that attitude
Giving a fixed problem is never know for sure but the answer is always to try to find hope in deep space but it is, and we will find it but together not alone
    thanks

    Three Goals.
    1. Focus on the little things

    2. Consider the Health of the game when pushing priorities

    3. Increase Communication between CSM and CCP and the greater community.
    Why these three things
    Little things
Eve needs a new Crucible. We can all agree on the little things, changing at least temporarily from large changes to continually fixing smaller issues. We saw some seriously good improvements in the March release and we need to build off this focus to develop a more positive gaming experience.
    Health of the Game
There are some long standing health issues that eve has, much like getting old in real life games eventually develop issues with old mechanics that have worn out in the test of time. We all know what these are but for those that want to see what I think, War (the Mechanic in high sec), Cloaky Camping, and balance. These are a few of these mechanics although there are many more that cut at the heart of eve and prevent healthy content. I cannot promise change but I can promise to advocate for iterations on these mechanics.
    Communication
With the reduction on the Community Team CCP needs to take advantage of the CSM as ambassadors for the brand. Use them to develop focus groups for targeted change, and use them to communicate to the masses. There are a lot of ways the player base can see where the CSM effects the game and insuring the masses see what the CSM does is vital to its success.

    Official Forum Thread
TLDR for the people that don’t read
    1. Little Things Initiative
    2. Improve overall health of the game through Quality of life improvements in all sec statuses
    3. Community Support
Persistence and Depth of knowledge. Welcome to my 5th CSM Campaign Every Year It gets better and better, I gain more experience and more depth of knowledge in other areas of Eve.
What do I bring to the table you might ask. I’m a long-term industrialist the numbers, and data type. I build various larger ships with my corporation including Capitals, Supercapitals, and Titans. I formerly ran a moon empire (all sub r32) So in terms of someone that understands the market and industrial Quality of Life issues specific to moon management, PI, and general industry. However, I am formerly a Fleet commander (slowly bringing it back) Between a former association with Spectre Fleet as an FC and multiple skirmish commander type roles in various groups I am a seasoned combat pilot also able to speak to many of the issues we run into now.
I am a huge proponent of public eve communities and finding new ways to support and spread their availability to the masses. I am a former Spectre Fleet FC and formerly ran the Spectre Fleet Alliance Tournament Team. Additionally, I am an active (though novice skill level) participant within Dev Fleet focusing mainly on industrial tools.
    The Big Three

    Little things

Simply put what are the little things that drive people nuts to let’s get them fixed, or at least bring them forward as problems to be looked at. This is easy because it’s not my idea,
