I'm back and it feels so good!!!

When I was away I had time to think about some things, one of them was how judgmental people can be. Lately people have been telling me that they feel comfortable talking to me about things they wouldn't normally talk about because of the fear of being judged but with me they don't have to worry about that. There's no lie there because at the end of the day we are living for ourselves so what's the point of judging the next person? Hear me out now...

Romanticizing my life during this soft girl journey has been having me feel like a real main character lately and I want to talk to y'all about it! If it's one thing I can honestly recommend to everyone, it's to start doing the same thing for yourself and watch how it boosts your self confidence/mental health. Couple's I highly suggest y'all do it too and fall in love all over again with your person. Hear me out now...

Angry Black Girl... a label that I dreaded growing up, but knew one day I would earn. I have always been known to be an emotional person but it wasn't until I entered my adult years that I actually found my voice and started being my own biggest advocate that I earned the "Angry Black Girl" label. The weight that had on me almost broke me at one point until I took it and turned it into my own positive. Hear me out now...

Method Man said " Just be there for me and ima make sure we, be livin in the f'in life of luxury. I'm realizing that you did have to fuck with me, but you did now I'm going all out for you kid, and I got mad love to give..." 

Let me talk to y'all about what I've learned on my soft girl journey so far. I can't speak for all women but I can give some insight on what it is that us women want and need from our partner/significant other. Hear me out and let me know what y'all think on some real shit! 

Everyone has their own relationship with their mental health. Mine hasn't always been the healthiest and it still isn't. Hell when I actually started one with mine it was the most toxic relationship that I had going one. But one thing about this relationship is, it's my only consistent relationship and since I have no intentions of separating from it any time soon I finally decided to work on making it a healthy one. Like any relationship, it's an ongoing work in progress, but its one worth working for. Hear me out now...because there's a lot of wealth in mental health!

Taking care of ourselves is a journey and it's more than just having a spa day. It's a process that takes longer than a day for sure. We need to work towards gaining a balance in our lives to truly take care of ourselves and we find that by establishing and maintaining boundaries. That's something thats difficult but extremely important. Hear me out and let me talk to y'all about it real quick on this episode of Real Shit!
