This was the first year of the Gunfest Range Day event. Vendors which attended were Kel Tec Weapons; IWI US; Sig Sauer; Springfield; Walther; Gunbroker; Silencer Central to name a few. It was held at the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, SD. Although attendance was thin, due to the lack of advertising, miscommunication between Gunfest organizers and the Buffalo Chip organizers and some other key factors, it has the potential to be one of the premier Range Day events in the Industry. We discuss some of the things they got right and the areas that need improvement.
