As promised, Michelle (aka - Shelley) and Aquaus come back as host and co-host of Convo at the Condo to talk about the school to prison pipeline and the system that continues to condition men and women of African descent.

They interviewed one of the Board Members of their nonprofit organization, The Word on the Move: Racquel Romans-Henry, Vice President and Community Engagement Lead and her brother Coran Romans, author of the children's book My Daddy Loves Me.  

Coran discusses the inspiration behind creating a personalized book for his daughter during his incarceration as well as the organization that he has founded: A Thousand Leaders, which helps other incarcerated parents to maintain a bond with their children through a personalized book

The first episode introduces this new podcast, Convo at the Condo, which is sponsored by the 501(c)3 organization, The Word on the Move.  Michelle Shelton is the host of this podcast as well as the founder and co-director of the sponsoring nonprofit.  Since the podcast and the nonprofit are just getting started, Michelle interviews the president of the organization, Aquaus Kelley, who is a strategist, a curator, and an educator as well as the founder of aloversambition.com.  Michelle introduces Aquaus as the co-host of this first episode, and the two discuss the branding and marketing methodologies that are necessary when attracting an audience.  The title of this episode is a play on words - connoting the night's topic as well as the novelty of this podcast.
