Hi everyone! Celebrating one year of podcasting! This is just a quick hello and a brief history of how and why the podcast started. This episode also features some unused interview excerpts from No Use drummer Rory Koff, Midtown guitarist Heath Saraceno, and Strung Out guitarist Jake Kiley. I teamed up with fellow Green Day fanatic Adam to discuss the band's angrier, heavier, and in our opinion superior follow up to their mega album, Dookie. 

Nothing beats a band you like covering a song you like, right? So what makes a good cover song? Sometimes it's even possible for a band to turn a song you never liked into one you enjoy. A bunch of friends share their favorite cover songs with me.

Tafty and I have bonded over a great many things in the 32 years we've known each other. This album holds a special place in our hearts; it served as the soundtrack to one of the best summers of our friendship. We also check in with band bassist Randy Bradbury.

Craig and I hit Strung Out guitarist Jake Kiley with a bunch of questions about our favorite Strung Out record.

From our respective homes, the DiSanto brothers and I connected through the magic of the internet to discuss Less Than Jake's major label debut. For the three of us, this was one of the first third wave ska bands we fell in love with. We mention baritone saxophones a lot.
