Talking SMAC

In this weeks episode we get you caught up on all of last week's action, the current standings, recognize this week's Athletes of the Week, and get you ready for all of this week's action. Not to mention some amazing interviews with players and coaches. We interview this week Head Coach of Leonardtown Swimming Coach Marley, and captain of the Leonardtown Swim Team Graham Salter. We also interview players from the Westlake Basketball team Aaron Herron and Myles Jackson about their big win on Monday night over North Point. We then interview legendary Head Coach Dale Lamberth of the Thomas Stone Basketball Program. We are back. After a hiatus due to the Holidays, Covid, and a bit of snow we are back at it again with a brand new episode. We get you caught up on all the action and get you ready for the start of winter sports again. We have interviews with Rich Pauole to get you caught up with Wrestling, then a conversation with Tobias Jenifer, head coach of the Huntingtown Boys Basketball team, about their 7 - 0 start to the season and what else is going on around the conference. Nice episode to get you back into the flow of things for the new year. As more sports happen we will include our athletes of the week and other segments like we did in the fall. Finally here it is. Our Boys Basketball Preview for the 21-22 season. So much content it has its own show. We got a breakdown preview for the entire conference then we got interviews with every head coach and some key players that were present at the SMAC Media Day. We know there is a pause in sports right now for most schools but this can get you caught up for the season when they get back to playing in January. Two episodes for you during the Winter Break. First we get you ready for the start of Winter Sports with our Winter Sports Preview for the 21-22 season. Each Sport time breakdown is listed below. Boys Basketball was so large it has its own separate episode. For each of the sports we have our breakdown of the upcoming season and schedule followed by an interview with a coach from the conference. We finish the Fall Season with a recap show, where we review the entire season for all the sports. In each sport we talk about the SMAC Champions, highlight the teams that had post-season success, and announce the All-Conference Coaches teams for each sport that had one. We also recognize those players that won the SOMD News Players of the Year for each sport and our own Talking SMAC All-Conference Team for Football.
