Talking tech with Techielass

This week I touch on the latest news from the Azure and Microsoft Teams world and also touch on how I think we need to normalise taking time off from work and stop celebrating people who work 14 + hour days.

Welcome to another Friday update!  The week's are fair flying in, here we are at the end of April!

It's been a fairly quiet week for Azure news, but this week I've taken the opportunity to share what there is and also highly some awesome news from the team over at Jabra around the new video bar and personal webcam that they announced this week.

I also take the chance to share where my head is at the moment in regards to social media, and how I'm trying to distance myself from the negative part of it and focus on being a technical expert in my field and not a social media influencer. Focussing on what makes me happy. 😊

In this week's episode I talk about the Azure news that has caught my eye this week. I also touch on the awesome live stream I did with some friends and colleagues on blogging and why we all do it and the platforms that we all choose to host our blogs.

I've recently been working through my reading pile and am reading Call me Red by Hannah Jackson and it's been interesting hearing her thoughts on social media and bullying/trolls and dealing with that.  As well as women in farming and it got me to thinking about the parallels between that and women in tech.

I hope you enjoy this episode!
