  • Talking Terror: Leave us Dead and Buried!
On an all new episode of Talking Terror, the crew takes a road trip to the sleepy town of Potter's Bluff! It's a small town with a lot of charm but the townsfolk seem a little odd. It's the Demonic Doctor Dave's turn to make a film selection and he chose "Dead and Buried" from 1981 directed by Gary Sherman. It's a film that features a young Robert Englund before he would go on to horror film infamy terrorizing the kids of Elm Street. It's also the final theatrical film for Fred Albertson whom most film fans may remember as Grandpa Joe from the 70's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!" While there won't be snozzberries and rivers of milk chocolate, there will be plenty of nasty gore courtesy of make up and special effects master; Stan Winston. So what's the big secret this humble little town is hiding? There's only one way to find out. Listen! If you dare.....

  • Talking Terror: Halloween Dreams
In 1978, John Carpenter created what would go on to be considered the precursor to the “Slasher” film craze of the 1980’s, that creation being “Halloween”. This Horror Classic would serve as the template of many successful franchises, establishing some specific “rules” that would become staples in those films, and the sequels to this franchise as well. Using a small budget, limited means and a cast of relatively unknown actors, he created a tour de force with a faceless, stalking murderer who would forever be etched into the horror film annals of history. Join the crew of Talking Terror this week, as we delve into this film and discuss our feelings and thoughts on it.

  • Talking Terror: "Raw" Meat
How do you like your cannibal movies? Personally, I prefer them in jungles, with savages and other "lower" forms of civilized people munching on the upper crust that invade their location to teach them of the new world. Well, for all of those that don't like it that way, there is "Raw", a French film that teaches us that sometimes, cannibalism is just byproduct of college life and eating raw rabbit. Or both, or neither. I don't know. Well, join the Talking Terror Crew at the table this week as we sharpen our utensils and dig in! Stay Scared!

  • Talking Terror: Got To Love Clown Head
Welcome once again to the circus that is Talking Terror! This week, with October and the Halloween fun just beginning, we figured we would start the month off with Rob Zombie's "31"! Written and Directed by Rob Zombie, the film features Sheri Moon Zombie, "Creepy Eyes" Meg Foster, and their fellow traveling sideshow crew as they get trapped, tortured and eventually executed during an insane game full of clowns, with a standout performance by Richard Brake, and oddly wigged old people, including the one and only, Malcolm McDowell. A mostly crowd funded film though, the question as to whether this was the film that Rob Zombie wanted to make, or were things tempered to fit the budget, is definitely in mind. Also "Cult of Chucky" dropped this week, so I'm sure that'll come up too! Stay Scared!
