Taking your mind off of current events with videogames has been a pastime for years so today we're talking with Elsa, a frequent Talking to Women about Videogames guest, about a few of her recently played games. We start off chatting about the Metroidvania-style game Gestalt: Steam and Cinder before switching up to chat about Tekken 8 with a bit of discussion about fighting games in general. Rounding things out we get to Daniel's thoughts on the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Courses and Elsa challenges Daniel to take on the daunting task of playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

On this very busy week, Jonathan and Tanya talk about Good Days and bad days, and a little bit of Skittles-based ASRM before settling in for a chat with bbbbbeatle where Jonathan talks with her about her frequent drawings of Travis Touchdown (there's over 4700?!?!). It's a Very Suda51 Holiday Episode because Jonathan and Tanya return to talk about Shadows of the Damned Hella Remastered for an extended bit on the back half of the show. Then out of nowhere Jonathan gives his Switch 2 predictions right at the end!

For spooky month, Jonathan and Ryan do some live game playing on the podcast of two games, Retro Realms: Halloween, and The Rocky Horror Show Video Game. Ryan gives a few ideas of videogames involving the undead and the Godzilla universe of monsters, and Ryan informs us of the evolving world of swears. The pair also discuss the game Clock Tower Remastered and talk a little bit about "Shadows of the Darned: Hecka Remastered" and give an update on their progress of Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. And finally, Ryan's not totally sold on Among Us, but he has so many stories about the game that he runs out the remaining space on the SD card.Show Notes:

This month, on a cat heavy episode, Jonathan and Ryan try to talk about Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom but the conversation quickly gets derailed for some lively banter about poop and pee. Ryan reveals that he wants no limits on his videogames and he dislikes water levels. There's also extremely brief discussion of the history of the beat 'em up genre along with the upcoming new entries in the genre, GI Joe: Wrath of Cobra, Toxic Crusaders, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind, and Karate Kid: Street Rumble.

This month on Yeah! Jonathan, Tanya, and Daniel discuss the landmark success of the game Crazy Taxi both in the arcades and on the Dreamcast and how the inclusion of music by a plucky punk rock band known as the Offspring would help cement the game's legacy as a major hit for Sega, long outliving the arcade and the console that spawned it. We also take wild divergences into talking about Seaman, Shenmue, MTV's Road Rules Season 5: The Northern Trail, 2024 Politics, and the Beatles.
