Talking Trees

In this episode, we dive into an exciting opportunity for the arboriculture community in Europe. The European Arboricultural Council (EAC) has launched a grant program aimed at advancing research and development in arboriculture. These grants support projects that promote sustainable arboricultural practices, improve tree health and longevity, develop innovative techniques and technologies, and spread knowledge in the field. Open to individuals, companies, nonprofits, and research institutions based in Europe, this grant funding is intended for both fundamental science and applied research projects.

With a total budget of €20,000 for the 2024–2026 period, EAC will distribute this amount across two selected projects. This is a unique opportunity for those passionate about trees and sustainable urban forestry to bring their ideas to life. Tune in to learn more about the eligibility criteria, project focus, and the application process!
