In the second episode, I discussed how our generation cannot be silent because the truth is being silenced right now, and we can help prevent that.

In the third installment of this series, our generation cannot be silent because there is a need for us to stick together.

In today’s final episode, I talked about our generation, and how we cannot be silent because people deserve to know about the Bible, and deserve the chance to follow God and go to Heaven if they don’t know already.

Have you ever gone against the rules and it ended up causing you more trouble than good? Well, that happened to Lot in Genesis 19. God told Lot and his family to flee to the mountains in order to escape the punishment that was coming to Sodom. Lot begged to not go there, but instead to flee to a nearby town that was very small. The Lord granted this to Lot, and spared the town for him. But, as you’ll find out in this episode, it ended up causing Lot more trouble than good. He ended up going to the mountains like God had originally told him to!

Our generation cannot be silent so that future generations will always remember

As teenagers, I think we are often told that we are the Church of tomorrow. But it is equally true (and even more so) that we are the Church of today. We do not have to wait until we are older, have more experience, or are smarter to start serving the Lord. We can do so today!

In this episode, I am beginning a month long series that will focus on reasons why our generation must not be silent. On today’s episode, I focus on the reason that our generation cannot be silent so that future generations will always remember.

During Israel’s 18 year long oppression under King Eglon, the Israelites plead for God to deliver them and send to them a way of escape. God hears them, and honors their request by sending them Ehud, the left handed judge. Ehud manages to get to the king without any suspicion, and kills the king who has been oppressing God’s people for 18 long years. In this episode, we go over the account in Judges 3, and read this event that looks like something you’d see in a movie script!

In this episode, I talk a little bit about something pretty memorable that I got to do this past weekend. I was invited alongside 43 other winner’s circle boys and girls my age to speak at Faulkner University’s Bible lectureship. It was an awesome experience, and I am very honored and still excited that I was chosen to participate in it. Lots of memories were made, and everyone who said a speech walked away with a scholarship to Faulkner! I made lots of friends and met many people, and I am very glad I got the opportunity to go. This was just one of the many kinds of opportunities that Lads 2 Leaders prepares its leaders for! Many thanks go out to everyone at Faulkner and Lads 2 Leaders that made this happen!
