Talking Utter Slot

After this one we're looking for therapy and possibly legal representation as we discuss, among other things: models of vans and trucks; plucky Brits in sheds making real racing cars; Pedro and his 'the real colour of red' issues; that poor man Batman and his many psychological issues; and Scott's inability to haggle at swapmeets. Also includes the inevitable 'Caught Your Eye' section (now a reliable feature), Pedro threatening to impersonate leading online retailers and an actual listener writes in.

Those 2023 announcements keep on coming and so do our opinions. Honourable mentions in this episode go to: Jim Kerr, Leo Sayer, Durex, Penthouse and a quality line-up of German moustachioed men. We also discuss slot cars.

The last week has seen some interesting releases announced and we have opinions. Obviously. It's that time of year (or was a week ago) when everyone collates their 'Best of 22' lists and Scott and Pedro are happy to flag down that bandwagon and hitch a ride, each with his own understanding of the actual criteria and with their own belief as to when stuff was actually released. And for balance, there's bonus grumpiness and the title, Most Disappointing Car of 2022 thrown at a couple of models at the end.

In which Scott and Pedro blather on about the UK's Winter Slot Car Market, the late Tony Secchi's apparent penchant for magnets and other Scalextric and slot car-related stuff.
