Hello and thank you for tuning in! Today, I’m talking with Sam Freeman — a seasoned MLB veteran who pitched for nine seasons. Sam's path to the big leagues took him from junior college to the University of Kansas, before being drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 32nd round. Over his career, he also pitched for the Milwaukee Brewers, Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers, and others.

Now based in Prosper and Aubrey, Texas, Sam is a private pitching trainer working with athletes of all levels. He also partners with the Frisco RoughRiders and Scottish Rite for Children to conduct movement screenings that help identify and prevent injuries in young athletes.

Today I am talking with Coach Dave Hengan from the Denton Ryan Raiders.
Coach Henigan has been coaching for several years at Denton Ryan and he has had plenty of success coaching young men of all collegiate level and in the NFL.
There are currently 7 NFL players who played under him while in high school here in Denton and the legacy of Ryan runs deep through the collegiate ranks.
Coach and I talked about several different things that are going on through the Summer, from the way that he coaches- starting young players, to the strength of  their district and summer workouts AND his own son Seth Henigan, who was a four year starter at Memphis University and drafted this season into the NFL by the Jaguars.
