Bessy Martinez is the founder of Austin Latinas Unidas, a Latina driven community focused on unification through curated social meetup events. Bessy’s mission is to provide a space where ALL Latinas in Austin and surrounding cities can feel empowered, motivated and build unity through their culture. Most recently she launched The Everyday Jefa (boss). The Everyday Jefa's mission is to support and empower everyday Latinas making Jefa moves .

Frances Leigh Jordan is a strategic communicator with 12+ years of experience in internal and external communications, policy, project management, community engagement, nonprofit development, and meeting production. Quick on her feet, she uses battle-tested critical thinking along with a creative and innovative mindset. Ventured down a non-traditional route after law school to build a diverse background that lends to her unique ability to connect and forge common ground amongst people with differing interests.
