Faith without works is...DEAD. This revelation has hit me fresh in this season. I was reflecting on all God has called me to, and reading through James 2 and Hebrews 11, and the Lord poured out so much timely revelation for me to mediate on. And one key thing that stuck out to me, was where James says you show me your faith, and I'll show you my faith BY my works...Noah moving in holy fear, working because of what he believed God told him...And the other countless verses and accounts we'll talk about, has all been sticking out and convicting me to show my faith more through my obedient steps and not just my words. I pray this inspires you as we go into the new year. Dedicate your steps. Protect your ever evolving mind. And whatever God has called you to...work at it like you believe it's true. Everyday, your mind waits to be informed. It waits for your thoughts, your beliefs and your patterns to tell it what to do.

Our minds are trained by us, by what we allow to dwell inside. Meditation becomes installation, and our minds are affected by what we are allowing ourselves to be consistently set on. 

If we can understand the delicately powerful and ever-changing mind, we can understand how to approach training it with more intentionality. Jesus wants us to live a life of power and authority, and that comes through dedicated steps, and a sound mind.

Togetherness with God

Yo, what’s good! This podcast is close to my heart, and a word that has changed my life. God spoke to me recently about getting back to the place and posture of togetherness with Him. He said something I will never forget, in a time where I was anxious, and busy and trying to lead my own life. He said, “I struggle watching you.”

I felt His heart and love for me in that moment, and it felt communicated in the tone of a parent who watches their child wander and hurt, but isn’t able to help them. I then continued to receive more word about simply walking with Him again, letting Him in on all of those moments that might be tough or feel insignificant, because He truly wants to be apart of it all.

God is a loving Father, faithful friend, corrector, Savior, healer and so much more. All we have to do is engage with Him. Enjoy this, and please, don’t hesitate to share with a friend or loved one. Love you. - JET
