Talking with Tarashuk

I honestly do not understand the need or legality behind stock buybacks, especially if money from a government subsidy is being used to buy back those stocks. To me, it sounds like a company pumping up it’s perceived value without actually fixing any real issues with the company. In this clip, like most of our clips from this podcast, Chris Englebert  brings some truth to my theory but also explains how it’s a double edged sword and can sometimes prevent a recession or even depression.

Having debt sucks, or does it? I guess it really depends if you are an individual or a business. To me, having debt is the worst case scenario, but in this clip Chris Englebert explains how businesses leverage debt and it can be used to their advantage.
