This month, we tried something different! We decided to play "One-Shot in the Dark" a classic fantasy TTRPG based on a deck of cards that can be played solo or up to four players! In this episode, we have a chat about Marvel's new "What If" series,  Suicide Squad, and Free Guy. We also talk about the big update for the  Avengers game and the newly released Boyfriend Dungeon. Lastly, we talk about the new Star Wars hotel in Disney World, what's included, and how much it costs.

Our cast read through "Sabriel" by Garth Nix, then came together to discuss how we felt about the book! There are heavy spoilers for the book, so make sure you have already read the book if you don't want to hear how it ends!

Tasked with transporting a local lord's comatose son to a distant wizarding school, your party sets up camp off the road in a small clearing on the night of the 4th day of travel. The party pulls straws for who will keep watch and, naturally, the Rogue drew the short straw.

The night continues as the Rogue gets too comfortable, falling asleep at their post, which allows a group of Wood Elves the perfect opportunity to grab your party's loose belongings, horses, and, worst of all, the cart where the body of the comatose son was placed.

In this episode, we have a non-spoiler chat about Loki and Black Widow. Then, we talk about the new Sea of Thieves update along with some of our favorite animes including the newly released movie, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba". 

For our One-Minute One-Shot, Jonny leads the group through an escape from a trap-filled ancient dungeon. When the exit is in sight, the party's Rogue fails their Dexterity saving throw with a Natural 1. Now, they are pinned under a large boulder as the roof is collapsing around everyone. Would you go back to save your party member even if it would risk your own life? Let us know in the comments what you would do! 

Finally, we talk about creative ways for groups to play around with rolling initiative and tips for how to keep your combat fun and exciting for your players!
