Former NFL defensive lineman Brentson Buckner joins In The Front Row for an honest look back at a 12-year professional football career that took him from Clemson to the NFL, two Super Bowl appearances, and some of the biggest lessons of his life.
Buckner talks about his journey at Clemson, being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and what it was like playing inside one of the NFL's most storied organizations alongside some of the game's biggest legends.
He also reflects on reaching the Super Bowl with Pittsburgh, coming up short, and then being traded to the Carolina Panthers — where he helped establish a championship standard that eventually took the team back to the Super Bowl.
But this conversation goes beyond football.
Buckner opens up about what those experiences taught him about losing, being traded, adapting, leadership, accountability and becoming a man in professional football. He also discusses his time getting into coaching and what eventually led him to start his own podcast.
