-Tipton’s athletes have helped contribute to 12 Southland Conference Team Championships 

Tipton worked with SHSU school record holder Chris Cralle (2012 Olympic Trials Silver Medalist) who earned All-American honors in 2011 and won the NACAC U-23 Championships in 2010 in the hammer throw.
