There will be differences amongst us over disputed matters. So the weak mustn't let their scruples condemn the strong. And the strong mustn't let their freedom destroy the weak. Because the gospel frees you from both these natural responses, to please others

Owe no one anything except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. We owe a debt of love we can never repay and even if we can never keep it or repay the debt we can fulfil the law by loving others.

The rule is to submit to governing authorities because they are appointed by God to judge and are servants of God. Christians are reminded to be the best citizens and to remember Jesus is the ultimate authority.
