God's favor is a gift that can't be earned. It is the grace of God, which means it is an unmerited favor. Favor can also mean acceptance, goodwill, and preferential treatment.

You Will Get Hit, You Will Go Down, You Can Get Up.

Happy Monday!! It’s a new week, new beginnings, new opportunities!! Don’t give up! Keep going! Keep Going!! Keep Going!!!

But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;

they shall mount up with wings like eagles;

they shall run and not be weary;

they shall walk and not faint. —Isaiah 40:31 God’s glory is not just that he has power, but that he loves to use it to help those who need it. God is not too great to care, he’s too great not to care.

We need to develop the habit of looking at whatever happens through a positive mindset instead of a negative one. Acceptance is like protecting yourself with your own shield.

I know it’s hard to practice acceptance when you deeply wish things were different. But the truth is, sometimes we can’t change our reality, even if we try.

Life often looks very different than the life we may have planned. But there can be grace and goodness in this unexpected side of life. We just have to learn to look for it.

God allows struggle and difficult times because we are sinners and we all come short of the glory of God. He knows that by allowing us to experience failure, pain, and struggle, we will grow stronger in our faith and to become closer to Him and moving away from sin. God does not cause suffering, but He can and may allow it to accomplish good.

God created you for something much more than happiness, at least in the way we usually think about happiness. Our natural concept of our existence is much too shallow, much too tame, and much too comfortable.

While you may not have control of the storm, you have to hold to hope. Hope that the storm will end one day. It may not end anytime soon, but it will not last forever. There will be better days. And even when your boat is flooding and you feel like you are drowning, do not be afraid. He will not allow you to go through more than you can handle. God is present with you always, even when you do not see or feel Him.
