Everyone wants to talk politics and what's right or wrong with them but here's someone who put her money and her time, and her career and her life where her mouth is and actually put actions behind her words. We tend to think of politicians as those born into that arena but Matielyn not only stepped up to run for Georgia State Senate, District 45 as an every day citizen but she stepped up to let people know, it can be done. One just has to believe in their convictions for change enough.

Times are changing and we need to always be ready to evolve. Same goes for me. Hope you're ready for the journey. 

The world is in an uproar to dismantle and redifine systems that continue to oppress and we're all trying to figure out what our roles are but where you stand regarding racism and equality shouldn't be a secret.
