🫶🏾🥳 #WomensHistoryMonth For the 3rd week of #WomensHistoryMonth , I had a pleasure of sitting down with someone I have looked up to as a young women in Christ for over 20 years at the Oakley Full Gospel Baptist Church , Pastor Linda (LeLe) Sawyer . She is an anointed woman of God who will lay you out in 3.5 secs lol.

About Pastor LeLe: Pastor Sawyer received the call of God on her life to enter the preaching ministry. After a season of prayer and spiritual guidance from both her former pastor, Bishop Andy C. Lewter, Jr., and her spiritual mother in the ministry, the late Elder Rosie Conley, Pastor Sawyer accepted her Call to the Gospel Ministry. She was licensed on June 18, 1989 and ordained on February 18, 1996; both under Bishop Andy C. Lewter, Jr.

While at Oakley, Pastor Sawyer has served as Youth and Women’s Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Media Director and Lead Elder. Presently, under the leadership of Bishop Herman D. Ware, Jr., Pastor Sawyer is the Director of Pastoral Care. On March 25, 2023, Elder Sawyer was elevated to Pastor during the Official Promotion and Sacred Ceremony of Elevation.

In 2015, God gave Pastor Sawyer a deeper revelation of purpose and significance in accomplishing His mission on earth. Being led by the Holy Spirit, Kingdom Equipping Ministries was established. KEM is a ministry committed to advancing the Kingdom of God by impacting a generation beyond the four walls of the church (Matthew 28:19-20). The ministry is uniquely designed to equip and develop disciples for kingdom service. KEM meets regularly every third, fourth and fifth Sunday of the month at 8:30 a.m., at Oakley Full Gospel Baptist Church.

As we kick off celebrating #WomensHistoryMonth , I tapped back into a series that I did a few years ago entitled #womeninministry. This week I had a pleasure speaking with Pastor Judge Terri Jamison @judgeterrijamison . We had a great time.


About Pastor Jamison: Dr. Terri Jamison-Gary made the journey from the coalfields of WV to Ohio in 1985. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Franklin University, a Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School and a Doctorate in Community Leadership hon causa from Franklin University. She received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:38 on January 1, 1984 under the leadership of the late Bishop George C. Plummer, II. She has served in the offices of assistant secretary to the Sunday School, transportation ministry, member of the Redeemed, Inspiration, and the Pastoral Choir, member of the Missionary Board, Usher Board, and Church Clerk. She was anointed and consecrated as an Evangelist in April of 2002. She continued to preach and teach throughout the state of Ohio, the U.S. and the Dominican Republic. She has had a radio broadcast "Divine Connection" for several years where she encourages the listeners to connect with God and find purpose in our lives. She is bi-vocational, serving the Franklin County community as a Judge for the Court of Appeals for the Tenth District. She is a sought after preacher, inspirational speaker, and has been featured in documentaries addressing the disparities in school discipline and social justice.

About Tamara: Tamara is an inspirational singer and songwriter. Her foundation started singing in church since she was 11 years old.


From 2008-2019, Tamara started professionally singing as a soprano with the award winning choir New Direction. It was there, she was able to develop her craft as a professional vocalist and traveled nationally with the group.


Tamara has been featured on the hit show "Empire" as a vocal lead in a choir scene in 2015 and has done a lot of background work for the show from 2015-2017. She has also done background vocals for many major artists such as New Direction, Fred Hammond, Jekalyn Carr, Jabari Johnson, Karen Clark Sheard, Judith McAllister, William Murphy, Jonathan Nelson, Barbara Streisand and many more!


Tamara is set to release her first solo artist single entitled “Triumphant” which is a high energy anthem track that echoes her testimony. Her goal is to reach the masses with a message of hope and victory.
