As the culture grieves collectively the loss of Malcolm Jamal Warner—it’s okay to experience your feelings—despite (many of us) not knowing him personally. We’ll process this loss (grief) collectively, individually and differently—based on our own realities. And it’s never okay to judge or tell anyone when, how, and who they should grieve. Each individual has their own “Heart-PLACE” from which they express grief and all other manner of life-decisions—emotional decisions included. “Emotional disconnection is not a spiritual discipline. Emotion is an active ingredient in your spiritual life, so the wise move is to take good care of your heart.” (Phillips, A. Dr., (2023), So, live and love well—tend to your heart for it houses the vicissitudes of this life.
