God is kinder to us than we are to ourselves. Reflecting on King David's story, this message invites believers to stop self-condemnation and embrace God's redeeming love – recognizing His voice whispers kindness, not criticism. By shifting our inner dialogue to align with God's gentle heart, we can walk in freedom and grace – living the one life we have with purpose and peace.

Friends, God has the power to resurrect anything, in any way He chooses. He can bring back the parts of you that have wandered away—the version of yourself that once loved and served Him wholeheartedly. Let God work in your life, and He will mold you into a beautiful creation.

No matter how long it's been, you can return to Him. This is a new year—a time for renewal and transformation. Let go of your old self and embrace the new you—a you that is renewed and dedicated to God.

This is your year! A time to refresh, renew, and step into the life God has prepared for you. Embrace the new, faithful version of yourself with open arms.

What can you do so that you can be depending on God and reliable like the dawn? By putting God at the forefront of your mind. Rely on him for everything and he and show that he can rely on you. In order to receive his goodness and salvation all you need to do is believe. Will you do that? Will you do that today? Will you rise up to the challenge and accept him? #freedominchrist

Freedom in Christ podcast 3

When we walk into an art gallery, we’re surrounded by pieces that reflect the creativity and imagination of the artist. Some artworks may catch our eyes more than others, but each one is a unique expression, often reflecting the value placed upon it by the artist or the buyer. In these galleries, some pieces are valued more highly than others, and they’re priced accordingly. But this earthly value is often subjective, based on human perception, demand, or even the artist’s reputation. You are made in the image of God, and you are beautiful, and that’s why Satan wants to destroy you.

But I want to draw your attention to a different gallery—a heavenly gallery where the Artist is God Himself, and the artwork on display is you and me.

It can be so hard to navigate through this world. We really do need guidance and the one who can provide that guidance is the Holy Spirit. As Christians, we are supposed to be encouraging to one another, but sadly most of are only concerned with themselves. Churches will often send mixed messages and so it gets very confusing. On one hand they say come to church, grow from each other, and if people don't get that growth or feel like they are welcomed, they are accused of coming to church for connection with others and not the sermon itself. The churches that understand this are the real successful ones.

When we commit our lives to Christ, we can feel so much freedom. To people who don't understand, this can be seem impossible. But after committing to Christ, it changes. Some people think that they will have to give up so many enjoyable activities-maybe so, but after committing to Christ, these things will come naturally. Don't think one has to change overnight. These things take time, and the end result is worth it.
