Tammy Lynn Leppert, born on February 5, 1965, in Rockledge, Florida, was a beauty pageant star with nearly 300 appearances and 280 crowns by age 16. After appearing on the CoverGirl magazine cover in 1978, she moved into acting, with roles in "Little Darlings" (1980) and "Spring Break" (1982). Following a minor part in "Scarface" (1983), Tammy exhibited erratic and paranoid behavior, fearing for her life. On July 6, 1983, she disappeared in Cocoa Beach, Florida, after an argument with a friend, and her case remains unsolved.
