Episode 23 takes us down under for the first time for a visit with Caleb Greyman, the writer and host for BrisQuiz Trivia in Brisbane, Australia. Caleb was looking for questions about the periodic table and 1990s Simpsons. Because the majority of my quizzes are set for an American audience, Caleb was at a bit of a disadvantage coming in, but still got to show off some impressive quizzing skills during our time together. It's a milestone week for Tangents - TWENTY episodes AND the return of Paul Paquet from the Ottawa Trivia League and the Trivia Hall of Fame. Paul's last quiz ended with some bad luck back-to-back questions about the OJ Simpson trial, so he came prepared this time around.

This week I get to hang out with one of my favorite trivia players, Kevin Kuschel. I first met Kevin several years ago in St. Louis thanks to a pub quiz at a place called Syberg's and found out there that he's an encyclopedia of music knowledge. For this quiz, he listed "One Hit Wonders" as his specialty subject, but I don't think there's a music question in the database that would stump him. But...did he find his way into those questions?

This is the episode where we finally learn the origin of the "busstoptv" username. Harry McGrory from Glasgow (and ProgChamps) was in the hot seat this week, answering questions on a wide variety of (sometimes misleading) topics. He listed The Beatles as his specialty subject.

Madeleine Garvey is next up in the hot seat this week, in search of questions about Video Games and Taylor Swift.
