Chapters 6-8 of the Invisible Man. The stranger is still nameless, but the whole town has "seen" who he is. And on Pentecostal Monday, no less. At least it's spring as he streaks out of town.

We get three chapters! #3, 4, &5. The "stranger" still does not have a name, may be wearing goggles or spectacles or both, after months the towns people have many rumors about the Stanger, and the vicar's house has been robbed. The stranger is a disagreeable person and has a lot of luggage. And a dog bite.

We begin with a slight misinformation about who created the mad scientist, some continuity problems, and a strange man entering a tavern and being quite terrible to the hostess. Chapters 1 & 2.

For Halloween/Samhain, we read the Raven.

Today we finish the story, sorry it's a long one. And I end it with one question. What happened to the other brother?

Today we finish ch 20, 21, and half of 22. We follow Victor as he goes home to Geneva, wallows in self-pity, stokes his own ego, gets married, and says hello to death again and again.

We follow V. Frankenstein renege on his deal with the monster, find death in his life again, the inside of a jail, another delirium and me calling him privileged and self-important. Chapters 19 and 1/2 of 20. I ran out of time. Oops.

We continue with chapters 17 & 18 of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. Follow Victor finding misery in even the most beautiful parts of life
