ये चाँद, ये दश्त ओ दर, ये कोहसार
फ़ित्रत है तमाम नास्तरन ज़ार

यानी तेरे आंसुओं के तारे

किस शै की तुझे हवस है अय दिल
क़ुद्रत तेरी हम नफ़स है अय दिल
