Happy New year! We hope 2023 is an amazing year for you! This week we are in Hebrews 2 talking about how Jesus is the real messiah because he knows. He knows what it's like to be human. He knows our hurts, habits, and hangups. He knows our anger and frustration. He knows our sins, our deepest, darkest secrets, and he loves us anyway! 

This week we gathered to sing and celebrate Christmas with a brief reading from Luke 2 followed by communion. If you would like, feel free to partake in communion with the recording at the end. We pray that 2022 was a great year for you and that 2023 will be even better. Peace. 

This week, we read from Luke 21:5-19 where Jesus talks about hard times to come for the disciples. But he encourages them to persevere because he will be with them. And that's a promise we can still cling to today. Jesus never promises to remove our hardships all of the time, but he promises to help us through them.
