The boys go deep into the sci-fi movie genre to create an epic showdown, tournament style. They will decide which sci-fi flick gets the coveted Tao of 205 Best Sci-Fi Movie of all time crown. The first of a five episode mini-series, this episode sees the Space Chase Division and the Robot Love Division get pared down to division winners. Ultimately they will compete with the winners of the other six division in the fifth and final episode. We interrupt our previously scheduled and recorded podcast to pay respect to the recently deceased Eddie Van Halen; a musician who made a powerful impact on the Tao of 205 crew. We discuss our favorite works by EVH, and how his music helped shape our lives. We also hear Bart's take on the impact of COVID on Halloween this year, and how Jer had to work for his candy as a kid.

Bart leads us on his thoughts and criticisms of '80s music; over-produced, corporate controlled, and boring. Jer says he's crazy. But is he stir crazy, fox-like crazy, crazy from the heat, or all of the above.  Was '80s music optimistic, or cynical; wise or naive? Is its popularity genuine, or just nostalgia?

We take a dive into Lowell's subconscious and uncover his guiltiest pleasures in film.  What movies is he embarrassed to admit to friends and colleagues that he enjoys when nobody's watching?  Jer throws in a couple of his own guilt laden films and we ask the question does Bart have any guilty pleasure films or is he comfortable owning up to all of his movie watching choices?

Just what is it about 70s movies that drives Jer up the wall? And how much does Bart rib him for it? And where did Lowell see Bernie Lomax? These questions get answered here and now.

The boys take a virtual trip to Columbus, OH and discuss the petition to rename the city to "Flavortown, OH".  We talk Guy Fieri, Triple D and some other notable Columbus natives that may also be deserving of having the city named for them.
