Taqaza umr ka ya ilaaj ka hai

Qusur chaarahgar ya marham ka hai

Dil roney per main to kh- mosh hi raha

Dagha to  dosto num chashm ka hai

Aarzu o tamanna o hasrat kahan

Shauq bhi ab kuchh kum kum sa hai

Yaqin hai mohkam, imaan pukhtah

Sawaal to yaro vahm ka hai

Khuda munafarid is pe bhi jhagre

Kalisa ya aur, muamla ahm ka hai

Peeri bhi ‘sahil’ zaalim hai bahot
