In this episode, we explore TRUST as a tool for Pressing On in times of uncertainty.

I share with you a personal account of how learning to trust day by day led me, and allowed me to lead my family, during the darkest days of pediatric cancer and how those lessons are particular relevant to current times.

Within any time is an invitation to trust.

These times are no different.

"Trust yourselves and trust what comes. When you trust what comes, you go into agreement with a future that is trustworthy. When you trust what comes, you create an opportunity to go into a landscape without fear. When you trust what comes, you claim freedom because you are unafraid."

Now for beautiful questions to lead you acrosse the bridge of trust into a future that you trust.  Take a moment to sit down with these questions and answer them.

1 What do you trust in your life?

2. If you are unsure about what you can trust in your life, what would you imagine could be your first step in opening to trust?  What new way of looking at things and new way of seeing things might you be open to trusting?

3. Remember a time that required great trust from you and how surrendering into that place of trust delivered you to a safe shore beyond the current horizon.  If you can't remember a time before now, contemplate my story of trust or Viktor Frankel's story of trust.

4. What invisible helpers are available in your day that you find yourself trusting?  Is there a surprising example of the right thing appearing at just the right time?  Are you willing to open yourself to the possibility of some new surprising, invisible help reaching out to you in these times?

Continuing our soul giving conversation of this idea of this being the Most Sacred of Times and further living into the question of “Who do I want to be?  How do I want to serve?” during this time, I want to share a transformational tool with you in response to one of the common refrains we are all singing and hearing: 

“These are some crazy times.”

“I wish we had a choice in the matter.”

“I want to do this, but they say I can’t.”

I understand what it feels like when you feel your choices have been taken away. 

It stinks.

Sitting in that place is discouraging and devastating, and we need to feel that; however, it is not a place we want to stay for two weeks or two months.  Once the shock begins to wear off, we will move into a new stage.

In this episode, I share with you the wisdom of another childhood cancer mother, a woman I never met, but whose wisdom impacted my life, and now impacts the lives of my clients and Soul School students … and even my children when they are interested:).

Today, I get to share it with you, one of my Soul Schoolers’ favorite tools … The Get to Game.
