My guest today is Tara Workman, a nature photographer living in the Pacific North West. Tara’s landscapes shine with unassuming simplicity and minimalism, some of them look like abstract paintings. Despite using a toned down, pastel color palette, Tara manages to display sharp contrasts and she uses shadows like a scalpel.
Speaking of which, in her free time Tara is a medical doctor and as such a family medicine physician. You can find her works on Foundation and SuperRare, and I implore you to closely follow her Twitter account!
I highly recommend Tara's website, it's a treasure trove: https://www.taraworkmanphoto.com/
Here are some of her pieces that we are talking about on the show:
The Sandbox
Land of Dreams
Windswept
The Art of Letting Go
Tara recommends that you check out these artists:
Alex Noriega
Valda Bailey
Sarah Marino
Bruce Percy
Mia Forrest
Swati Chakraborty
Abrahanny
