The Esteemed month of Shabaan is upon us, leaving less than 30 days before the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan. We know that Ramadan is the time for us to change ourselves for the better, but how can we prepare for this in the month of Shaban?

The need for clarity is at an all-time high. Humanity is searching for a solution to its ailments, and most people don't know where to turn for guidance. Most of us rely on the convenient, well-trodden path, of following the cultures of our forefathers, but is that a sufficient source to navigate our journey? Or does Islam teach us a better alternative from the Source of Guidance Himself, Allah swt?

On that night Rasulullah (saw) rode in the night to the holy lands of Jerusalem and prayed in the sacred Aqsa mosque, in the company of the prophets and messengers of old. Imagine being able to join him on that journey.

Allah SWT showers his mercy upon us in many ways; most of the time, it is through means we never expect. The sacred months of the Islamic calendar open many doors of Allah’s mercy and guidance. What kind of change do the sacred months bring? What does the prophet SAW teach us about the significance of the sacred month?

The month of Rajab is upon us, which means we are less than two months away from Ramadan! This is the season of worship, the season where those who were distant find their way, the season of generosity, the season of faith reviving in the hearts of millions. May Allah bring us all to Ramadan. What are you doing to prepare for the month? Fasting more often? Additional prayers? Staying up for Tahajjud? What if there were some very simple, nearly effortless ways for you to be in the best shape possible for when Ramadan arrives?
