Somehow I’m always finding out about remix contests 1 week from the deadline. Anyhow, @SLUMBERJACK have been a huge inspiration to me ever since I started producing music. They have created worlds with their sound.

When I studied abroad in 2014, I had a chance to visit Sarawak, the namesake for their new EP and documentary. Travel has always inspired my music and it’s exciting to that others share that mentality.

@theglitchmob were one of the first acts that brought me into the world of electronic years ago. It was real fun to put my spin on their classic sound in How Could This Be Wrong. The vocal manipulation and heavy bass are something new that I wanted to try. The organic sounds flanked with raw synths to take you off into a faraway cyber punk world. Hope you enjoy!

Water Me Down struck me with pure emotion the first time I heard it. Having the vocals as my guide, I wanted to bring them into my own production, keeping the feeling but adding world music elements into the track but keeping some electronic and future bass vibes.
