The first episode of Tarot for Bodies in Tumult! In this episode, we look to the tarot to answer a question about dealing with fatigue, and then we explore what the tarot has to say about working with anxiety. The cards do not disappoint! We receive practical guidance on getting curious about where anxiety is coming from and what it’s trying to tell us, anxiety related to thoughts vs. anxiety related to beliefs, and how taking on too much can trigger anxiety. Hi! I’m Laura MacPherson! I’m on a mission to live a great life even with chronic pain, and I’ve found the tarot to be an empowering guide for this journey. Whether you deal with chronic pain yourself or whether you love someone who does, the tarot is rich with messages to help. In this podcast, we explore real-world topics and see what the tarot has to say about them.
In the first part of the show, I take a listener question and explore it. We talk about everything from tarot and spirituality to the big issues affecting us in our culture today.
Next, we see what the tarot has to say about a specific topic. We look to the cards for insights to help you better understand yourself, better manage your pain, and better enjoy your life. I don’t have all the answers, but I’ll share ideas and offer up new perspectives based on my own experience and work with the tarot.
Tarot is a perfect tool for helping us dive below the level of the conscious to access ideas, insights, and solutions we wouldn’t have arrived at otherwise. At the same time, tarot is not science! I encourage you to reach out to a medical or mental health professional when you need it. My own healthcare team has been absolutely crucial to improving my wellness.
I hope you’ll tune in to these bi-weekly episodes and join me on the journey to living well even with chronic pain.
