Sovereignty masterfully plays the world’s greatest love song on the broken strings of countless human hearts. 

There doesn’t seem to be much meat on the bones in chapters 1-9. But bones can teach us, too. 

Bible blessings don’t come to the most observant, but the most obedient—but observing helps! 

Paul spoke of “endless genealogies.” Christ was their end point. Reject Him and they’re endless.

Some battles we lose because the enemy is strong; some are lost because we simply run away.

The last ruling priest (Eli), the last judge (Samson), the last king—all blind. And the last church? (Rev 3:17).

Events are happening quickly as the foundations crumble under Judah. It’s kingdoom time!

Strange how the people must be taken far away to discover what He had given them back at home.

We’re now beginning to see the dominos fall in Judah. But this isn’t random. It’s God’s hand of judgment.
