Macie Jeppson, a senior at Spearfish high school, has seen the Lord in big and little ways over the past few years of her life. Macie has gone from wondering where she can find the Lord, to joyfully entering into His presence with a cup of coffee at 6:30 every morning. She has gone from wondering what she could take to the Lord in prayer, to praying over area of her life as she desires whatever the Lord has for her in the season of life to come.  The gift of prayer, of community, and of a slow life, has given Macie the peace she needs to live a life her life in it’s fullness!

Faith joined us on the Tasted + Seen Podcast and shared her story of finding Jesus. She searched everywhere for something that would make her pain go away and help her feel whole again. She looked for her identity through parties, boys, and drugs, but was continually left feeling empty. God worked through a campus ministry at Black Hills State to show Faith the forgiveness and freedom that were available to her. God’s grace washed over Faith and completely transformed her heart and mind.

Faith’s story is a beautiful reminder of the joy that comes from seeing Jesus do what He does best—transforming the lives of His children.

Slower seasons of preparation and waiting seem long and confusing, yet those season are vital to forming us more into the likeness of Jesus. We get to look back at these seasons and overflow with gratitude for all of the little things that God did in and through us in seasons of preparation. Nevan had a couple jobs before leading tech at Mercy City Church in Lincoln, Nebraska that ultimately prepared him to be able to step into and thoroughly enjoy his current position. We serve a really intentional God!

In high school, Taya was completely wrapped up in her academics, her extracurricular activities, and keeping to her busy, but organized, schedule, but after spending some time in the Philippino mission field, Taya experienced freedom from that. Witnessing people live slowed, relational, and joyful lives shifted something in Taya. Ted Grant, along with his wife and their friends, created Ten Minas Ministries, a retreat center where those in ministry can stay and be poured into, counseled, and encouraged! Ted shares the story of how Ten Minas Ministries came about, and about the work that God did to prepare everyone and everything for this ministry to thrive!

Y'all have heard his wife, Gracie Jackson, on the podcast but today you get to hear from Joe Jackson! Joe is in full time ministry in Superior, Nebraska and in has learned some really big lessons in his first few years doing ministry. Trusting God with the spiritual growth in the lives of the people we minister to is easier said than done.
