Aubrey Jeppson and her family traveled the country in an RV for three years! Three years of exploring, driving, trying new things, and—most importantly—three years of no busy schedules. They didn’t have any places they had to be or tasks they had to do; they simply got to be.

The Jeppsons saw and did incredible things, but the biggest takeaway from their adventure was a spiritual one. The Jeppson family hasn’t been the same since their journey, and we got to talk all about it in this episode!

Nathan is a small business owner, a committed local leader, and someone deeply invested in the health and growth of our community. We talk about what it truly means to lead well. Leadership isn’t about titles or recognition. It’s about serving others, seeking God’s direction through prayer, and consistently putting the needs of others ahead of your own. It’s clear—both from Nathan’s life and from this conversation—that he doesn’t just talk about these principles; he lives them. Our community is stronger because of leaders like him.

Carl and Kristen Proctor had to complete a ministry internship as part of their degree at Ozark Christian College, so they spent the summer of 2025 at a small church camp in Canada. They were quickly overwhelmed and completely exhausted, but they remained faithful to the task that was laid before them and came on the podcast to share what God did through them. From start to finish, it was clear that God used their internship to impact the lives of others and to continue preparing them for the things that lie ahead, as they recently accepted a job at a different camp in Indiana.

We don’t have to have our lives all figured out. Honestly, it’s impossible to plan out every step of your life. Kate Little, the youth coordinator at Inspire Family Fellowship, knows this firsthand. There was a season when she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do, but looking back now, she’s so thankful for how kind the Lord was in placing the right people in her life and opening doors along the way. Those moments led her to a job she genuinely loves showing up for every day—one where she gets to have fun with youth while watching the Lord change their lives.

Mike Hess did NOT want to move to Colorado. He was happy in Wyoming, but in a bold step of faith, Mike moved states last in the summer of 2025, from one college campus ministry team to another. It was out of Mike’s comfort zone, that God exemplified His patience to him.  It was SO fun to chat with Mike, and hear how the Lord has begun to refresh his tired heart, answer his prayers (big and small) , and bring specific people into his life that he is able to pour into and disciple on a daily basis! We are thankful for Mike’s obedience!

Brandon came on the Tasted + Seen Podcast and shared about his dream of working in vocational ministry, where he could focus on discipleship. For a short time, Brandon was able to do just that. Shortly after becoming the discipleship pastor at Saddleback Church, God began doing something in his heart—preparing Brandon for something new. This season of preparation deeply blessed Brandon and filled him with gratitude for the way the Lord cares for us. Tune in as we chat about how good God is to prepare us for what’s next, and to hear what that next step was for Brandon!

Matt Branum joins us again on the Tasted + Seen Podcast, and he shares how God has been showing up in his life through moments of silence and solitude. We dive into this idea of spiritual disciplines, and we discuss the gift that they are to our lives, with a little bit of fun church staff banter into the conversation mix. The way that God calls us to live takes intentionality, but it is always life giving and freeing! This is such a challenging AND encouraging conversation

We were blessed to have Abbi Rodgers join us on the podcast, as she eagerly told us her most recent God story that changed her heart posture towards prayer. What seemed like a small, silly thing to pray about ended up teaching her that God cares about every detail of our lives, and that He desires to give us discernment to make difficult decisions. Praise God that He is so near to us.
