time to down one too many margaritas on this manic Wednesday - bc that's how Sophie manifested her bf. Sophie is a Twitter queen with unfiltered opinions on everything pop culture. In this episode Sophie gives us the pop culture tea by explaining why Nick Viall is her archnemesis & the downfall of call her daddy. We slander dating rules and make a strong argument that they're actually making u pretty lame. Shocker but drinking too much or sleeping with someone on the first date isn't going to ruin what's right for u - it literally doesn't matter live ur life stay hot stay fun. 

A strong takeaway is that we need to take the pick off the pedestal - a social cause I care about, truly. Why  are we pretending like guys make all the rules? Sophie challenges - if he wanted to .. would he really? What about all the times you wanted to but didn't? Just send the text, drink the drink, sleep with him - fall in love, get ghosted who knows ..  it isn't that deep.

this week we sit down with absolute queen of a dating expert Ilana Dunn - host of the podcast Seeing Other People. Ilana is controversial in the best way. She explains why you should say fk dating rules and if you want to send the text - send the fking text (okay don't forget social cues and self respect don't send paragraphs to the man who doesn't care if you live or die). But essentially, you can't ruin something good by showing you're interested and like someone. This was a tough pill for my jaded self to swallow - but nonetheless, I agree.
