Helloooo everyone, welcome to another episode of Hive Learner's Creative Sunday Initiative with George Dee.
Today, I made one of my favorite foods in completely different ways, and you are going to love it.
Beans cake, popularly known as akara, is one of the life-saving foods in this part of the world because it is always everywhere, and Nigerians enjoy it at a cheap price. I have enjoyed beans cake since childhood in different ways and one of my favorite is combining bread and bean cake for deep frying. This recipe isn't new but many people haven't tried it before.
The first time I tried this recipe, I didn't believe the outcome would be great but it came out really good.
I started by processing the ingredients, it's best to have everything prepared for use.
I heated my deep frying pan and added some groundnut. While it is getting hot under low heat, I did the biggest part of the process.
I added the manually blended pepper and onions into the blended beans.
I repeated the process for the remaining bread, and the outcome was great.
The bread gives it this special scent, and I love how it melted in the bean cake. You can barely notice it when looking at it, but the bread taste is intact.
The combination is fantastic, delicious, and healthy as well. You can have it anytime of the day with any drink of your choice as well.
