In the journey of life we all need traveling companions. This life is full of uncertainty and treachery and we cannot make the journey alone. But we must also be careful about who goes with us.

We all need direction on this journey called life. What better way to explore the destination God has mapped out for each of our lives than through Scripture?

Today we are going to finish our series entitled, "American Idols." This week we will look at a fourth and final Idol that is specifically American in nature: Success.

This week we are going to try to answer the questions, “what does the Bible say about Beauty and Appearance, how can we know if they are idols for us, and what can we do about it?”

We are attempting to define some of the issues that often come between God and His people. This week we examine what I think is the second idol in America: Sex.

Today we are beginning a new sermon series entitled, “American Idols”. An idol is anything that comes before God in our lives. Today we will look at what is probably the most easily identifiable idol in America: Money.
